The Eurolab Secretariat is collaborating with the EURAMET Secretariat on various communications and technical activities. Currently, Eurolab’s technical document (Cook Book) on Method Validation in Calibration Laboratories has been submitted to the EURAMET Technical Committee for Quality, for further comments and collaboration on the topic.
Moreover, outputs from the BIPM-WMO Metrology for Climate Action Workshop will be published soon. Eurolab joined as Stakeholder Organisation thanks to Euramet support.
On 30-31 May 2023, the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS) and the European Metrology Network (EMN) for Mathematics and Statistics (Mathmet) jointly organised the third edition of the Mathematical and Statistical Methods for Metrology Workshop (MSMM 2023), under the local organisation of INRIM and Politecnico di Torino.
Its main aim was to transfer state-of-the-art modelling and computational tools to industry, testing and calibration laboratories, academia and other client communities, and, at the same time, to collect their needs and ideas for future improvements of the mathematical and statistical methods for their fields of application.
