After more than 20 years of service, TÜV SÜD’s Dr Michael Reader-Harris has stepped down as Chair of ISO/TC 30/SC 2 Differential Pressure Meters Committee.
BSI recognised Michael’s dedication in November 2022, by presenting him with a gift and a distinguished service certificate ‘in appreciation of valuable contributions to the development of British, European and International standards’.
Michael has chaired BSI Committees and ISO Committees/Sub-Committees for over 20 years. Solartron ISA made Michael the gift of an orifice plate ‘in appreciation of professional services and efforts to develop International Standards for the Differential Pressure flow metering community 1993-2023’.
Michael said, “This year revisions of all six parts of ISO 5167, the most important flow measurement standard, have been published by ISO/TC 30/SC 2/WG 11, of which I am convenor. There are revisions of three ISO Technical Reports to be published in 2023; then I shall retire.”
