On 28 September manufacturers across the UK opened the doors to their factories and sites.
National Manufacturing Day is an opportunity for manufacturers to showcase the range of highly skilled and well-paid jobs they have on offer.
During the day, local communities were able to see the potential careers and jobs on offer within the manufacturing sector, particularly sub-sectors including automotive, food and drink, aerospace, defence, chemical and pharma.
Make UK worked with Government on the event and details of the companies taking part in National Manufacturing Day were circulated to every jobcentre and school across the UK.
