National Apprenticeship Week took place on 5-11 February. A week-long celebration that brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

Method validation is the process that provides evidence that a test method is capable of producing results that are suitable for a particular application. This course is primarily designed for analysts and laboratory managers in the analytical chemistry and related sectors.

Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 concerning batteries and waste batteries will bring about significant changes in the European Union’s approach to battery sustainability, performance, safety, and waste management. The regulation came into force on 18 August 2023. 

The updated website has a host of new capabilities for members, including training updates, a live jobs board – free for members – and editable member profiles. There are also regular training discounts and special offers. 

The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and the University of Manchester are bringing together government, industry and technology leaders to understand and explore quantum technologies and how organisations can prepare and utilise this disruptive technology into strategic plans.
