Eurolab holding session at IMEKO TC6 Conference on Metrology and Digital Transformation

Focusing on digital representation and the use of metrological information, machine-readable certificates for metrological services, cloud infrastructures, remote and digital service in the quality infrastructure, and metrology for industry 4.0, the IMEKO TC6 Conference three-day conference will take place from 19 to 21 September in Berlin, Germany. The event also has the option for delegates to join the event remotely.

Eurolab’s dedicated session is entitled “The lab of the future is now. How to embrace the present for a successful future?”. It will be opened by Laura Martin, the Eurolab Secretary General, who will provide a brief overview of the Eurolab activities in relation to the lab of the future. After the introduction, representatives from members’ laboratories will provide insights on digitalisation strategies for laboratories. They will also exemplify the changes occurring in the field of metrology and calibration in small and medium labs, displaying their local developments as case studies of digitalisation.

The presentations will be followed by a roundtable discussion.
