Taking place online from 26 to 30 September 2022, the event is hosted by the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) and the World Meteorological Organization, in collaboration with EURAMET – The European Association of National Metrology Institutes.
The week-long event will examine progress and identify future development requirements of advanced measurements, standards, reference data, comparisons and calibration for metrologists to support climate change science. It will also assess gaps in quantifying greenhouse gas emissions and uptake for effective actions on mitigating climate change and its impacts.
Registration is free of charge and is open to experts and stakeholders active in the fields of climate science, observations, greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation and measurement, modelling and measurement science.
