The Review also aims to ensure that the product safety framework keeps pace with new technologies and business models. It offers the opportunity to regulate standards in a way that suits the UK economy, capitalising on the new opportunities afforded by the UK’s deal with the EU.
OPSS is keen to hear from those with experience or evidence, about how the product safety system is working, and how it could be improved or simplified.
The Call for Evidence opened on 11 March and will close on 3 June.
